Opinion: Energy policy must be a provincial discussion

Natural gas is playing more of a prominent role on the world stage as countries seek out ways to build innovative renewable energy systems. The BC Chamber of Commerce recognizes the province’s abundant natural gas reserves, and believes harmonized energy policies could establish certainty within the industry. This would enable BC to be a place of innovation, unlocking economic value through gas resources while encouraging opportunities for economic gain in rural areas of the province.
