Seaspan opens $44M Duke Point terminal for growing ferry freight load

The amount of traffic going to and from Vancouver Island is steadily increasing. Seaspan has acted on these growing demands, opening Duke Point’s new $44-million terminal. Many including Chris Good, a representative of the Snuneymuxw First Nation, are welcoming the new terminal as it helps in creating new jobs while continuing to further relationships with surrounding communities through capacity increases and improved service levels.
