Society to dissolve by end of 2017

Dear Members, Followers and Community,

After thoughtful consideration, British Columbians for Prosperity’s Directors and Members have approved a motion to dissolve our Society by the end of 2017. Over the course of the five years of our Society’s activities, much has been accomplished. Environmental and economic initiatives benefiting all citizens, Indigenous Peoples, and a wide variety of industries have been highlighted through our work.

Our initiatives, coupled with the actively engaged citizens of British Columbia, have made British Columbians for Prosperity an effective social media platform for people to freely discuss their points of view and share what prosperity in B.C. means for them.  British Columbians for Prosperity’s objective has been to publish evidence-based information, using social media to initiate conversations, allowing British Columbians to arrive at their own conclusions regarding public policy and economic choices. Through our social media platforms, 36,000 engaged individuals come together and discuss the current issues and policies pertaining to B.C.

Due to our limited funding and new donations, British Columbians for Prosperity will continue “business as usual” through to early December and then be dissolved by the end of 2017. We believe that British Columbians can continue our efforts by presenting facts and continuing the essential dialogue about the future prosperity of our beautiful province, through other social media avenues.

Thank you for your time and support.

With kind regards,

British Columbians for Prosperity’s Directors
